Upon his retirement some 12 years ago, Terry and his wife, Susan, moved to Cedar Creek Lake and immediately joined St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church. Since joining her has had the privilege of serving on the Vestry, the Golf Committee, the search committee leading to the call of Fr. Randy Melton, and the Strategic Planning Committee. He has also worked as a MAGS (Mabank Area Good Samaritan) volunteer and, in addition, have been actively involved as a Greeter, and with St. James Angel Food and Adopt-A-Family outreach programs.
Terry and Susan joined the Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Georgia, over 50 years ago and have been involved in each parish they joined over the years - St. Bartholomew's in Atlanta, St. Bartholomew's in Corpus Christi, Texas, and St. James on the Lake. In Corpus Christi, he was elected to the Vestry twice and appointed Sr. Warden and a member of the Interview Committee for the Diocese of West Texas.
