St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church is a parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas. We are part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that he willingly atoned for our sins on the cross. Our worship comes from the 1979 Book of Common Prayer. All Christians, baptized with water in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit are welcome and encouraged to receive Holy Communion. We extend this invitation as we recognize we share a common baptism in the One Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. St. James on the Lake is a parish of committed Christians who welcome all people.
