I was blessed to have been raised by Godly parents and I gave my life to Jesus and was baptized at age nine. I was blessed again with a work family of architects for twenty-six years as their bookkeeper/administrative assistant and sometimes “mom”. After I retired, I wanted to be involved in a neighborhood church. My son pointed out that St. James was less than a mile from my house. In November of 2023 I was confirmed at St. James on the Lake Episcopal Church. St. James has given me an opportunity to be a part of their many outreach programs, participate in book studies, assist in communion as a Chalice Bearer and serve on the Vestry.
